Award presentation speech from ASSP Broken Top Chapter President David McClung
This person has shown remarkable dedication to not only ASSP Broken Top Chapter, but also the Central Oregon Safety and Health Association. In fact, over the past 5 years, He has supported the founding of the chapter, and driven collaboration between ASSP and COSHA. The September COSHA conference is a shining example of his contribution to both – where he’s skillfully navigated both associations’ stakeholder groups and ambitions.
In that continuing effort, He has driven the development and continual improvement of a mutually beneficial relationship where ASSP provides a speaking track to fill COSHA’s agenda, and in return ASSP realizes a monetary benefit based on enrollment and participation. This has become the most significant financial contribution each year for our Chapter and helps to grown our chapter as a whole. He has faithfully served in many roles on our board, most recently as secretary. He’s given more than the average volunteer, and we’re excited to recognize his efforts as he shifts his focus to his new role in SAIF as the regional leader.
