Welcome to the ASSP Broken Top Chapter!
I’m honored to serve as Chapter President and excited about what we have ahead of us. Whether you’ve been a member for years, recently joined ASSP, or are simply looking to connect with other safety professionals in Central Oregon, I hope you’ll find our chapter to be a place where you can connect, learn, grow, and get involved.
Our goal is to create opportunities that provide real value to our members. Throughout the year, we’ll offer a mix of educational programs, technical tours, professional development opportunities, networking events, and community outreach. More importantly, we want these experiences to strengthen the relationships within our local safety community.
Help Shape Our Chapter
The Broken Top Chapter belongs to all of us, and some of our best ideas come directly from our members.
Is there a safety topic you’d like to learn more about? A facility you think would make a great technical tour? A speaker you’d like to hear from? Or perhaps you have expertise of your own that you’d like to share.
We want to hear from you.
There are also many ways to get involved without making a major time commitment. Whether you attend an event, volunteer for a project, help with community outreach, serve in a chapter role, or simply invite a colleague to join you at a meeting, your participation helps make our chapter stronger.
Looking Ahead

We have an exciting year planned, including five Chapter Meetings, a Technical Tour, a Professional Development Conference, and community outreach events.
We’re also working to build stronger partnerships with organizations throughout Central Oregon. These relationships help us expand professional development opportunities, support our members, strengthen our community outreach, and continue advancing workplace safety throughout our region.
I encourage you to watch for our upcoming events, join us when you can, bring a colleague, and introduce yourself. ASSP is at its best when we learn from one another and build relationships beyond our individual workplaces.
Thank you for being part of the ASSP Broken Top Chapter. I’m looking forward to connecting with you and building a chapter year that supports our members, our profession, and our Central Oregon community.
