The Broken Top Chapter is pleased to continue our long-standing collaboration with Oregon OSHA. We’re excited to welcome back Craig Hamelund, Oregon OSHA Education Specialist, for an informative session on reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
Craig will provide an overview of the Oregon OSHA Administrative Rules (OAR 437), focusing on the OSHA Form 300, recordability criteria, and the annual summary process. This session is a great opportunity to ensure your organization’s compliance and strengthen your understanding of OSHA documentation practices.

About the Speaker:
Craig Hamelund graduated in 1993 from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Environmental Health Management. Before moving to Oregon, he performed industrial hygiene work for a Michigan consulting firm and served as a safety compliance officer with South Carolina OSHA.
Craig began his career with Oregon OSHA in 1995 as a Safety Compliance Officer in Medford. In 1998, he joined Oregon OSHA’s Public Education Section, conducting safety and health workshops and training sessions for employers and employees throughout the state. Since 2006, Craig has served as Oregon OSHA’s Internal Training Specialist, providing safety and health education for all Oregon OSHA staff.
