Nominated for President Elect

Niki Holm, CSP

Niki has a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).    Niki has a diverse background with 20 years of safety and loss prevention experience in the construction, energy, and agriculture industries.  As a Risk Control Advisor for IMA she provides services to cannabis, manufacturing and real estate clients.  Niki chairs the WISE (Women in Safety Excellence) Common Interest Group for the ASSP Broken Top Chapter and was co-chair for the Denver WISE group.  She is also a part of the Women in Cannabis group Blunt Brunch and works to build her knowledge of the industry, network with cannabis industry professionals, and find ways to help reduce risk to workers in cannabis cultivation and processing facilities.  

In her personal time, Niki enjoys being in the outdoors with her two rescue pit bulls and enjoys international travel that involves hiking and spending time in remote areas.  Niki has a son who recently graduated from the University of North Dakota and is a commercial pilot.  

Nominated for Vice President:

Maya Anichini, CSP

Maya is a dedicated and experienced safety professional with over a decade of hands-on work in both industry and consulting. Her background spans a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, technology, consumer goods, and food and beverage. She brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to the field, having supported organizations through both internal leadership roles and external advisory positions.

Maya holds five years of higher education in Occupational Health and Safety Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she built a solid academic and hands-on foundation in the field. Her approach emphasizes systems thinking, proactive risk management, and people-centered leadership.

Known for her ability to engage with teams, lead selflessly, and lift others up, Maya is deeply committed to fostering collaborative environments where safety is not just a requirement but a shared value. Her leadership is defined by empathy, integrity, and a drive to continuously improve the culture of safety wherever she works.

Maya is currently a Safety Manager at CPG Beyond, where she applies her credentials as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), a TPECS-certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and her expertise in industrial hygiene. Maya enjoys dedicating her free time to caring for her ever-expanding menagerie of animals.

Nominated for Secretary:

Lizzie Manley, GSP, ASHM

Lizzie is currently in the early stages of her safety career after graduating from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with her bachelor’s degree in Safety Management in May of 2022. Lizzie chose to pursue a career in safety with the hopes of improving employee’s wellbeing in the workplace in a way that might carry over into their personal lives. Lizzie’s first safety job was with The Cincinnati Insurance Companies as a Loss Control intern followed by her Safety Coordinator role with Rosendin that brought her to Oregon after graduation where she was exposed to the world of construction on sites such as Intel and Facebook. Most recently, she has joined the High Desert Museum as their Safety Manager where she has been formalizing their safety program as they prepare for their AZA accreditation. While in school, Lizzie intermittently participated in the student chapter of ASSP and acquired her Graduate Safety Practitioner & Associate Safety and Health Manager certifications upon graduation.

George Lundberg, CSHM

George has 25 plus years’ experience in managing and overseeing environmental health and safety programs. He has earned a graduate degree in Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University and is a certified Safety and Health Manager. He spent 8 years in agriculture and 17 years in the high-tech industry. The earlier years including working for Washington State University and University of Arkansas in EH&S positions and 12 years as a firefighter/EMT and fire inspector in the state of Florida. Among his professional accomplishments he has implemented certified ISO Programs, was the first member in the EPA National Performance Track program and held one of only a few Oregon Department Environmental Quality Green Permit. He was recognized by the Association of Oregon Recyclers “Recycler of the Year” award for business and the Businesses for Environmentally Sustainable Tomorrow award, Business Recycling Award Group award. George served on several boards including Oregon METRO Regional Solid Waste Advisory Board, National Electronic Product Stewardship Initiative (NEPSI), and the National Agronomic Environmental Health and Safety School. He has a beautiful and funny wife and 3 rescue dogs. He enjoys the outdoor activities the Northwest offers – especially hiking and kayaking around the lakes of central Oregon. He also loves riding his motorcycle and 4 wheeling in his jeep when he can. George is the current Broken Top Treasurer.
